Sweet Jean grew up baking along side her mother and learning the art of peanut brittle. What began as a cherished family tradition quickly became a lifelong passion.
After years of sharing her homemade brittle with friends and family, who couldn’t get enough, Jean was encouraged to turn her craft into something more. From her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, she proudly launched Sweet Jean’s Candy, bringing her time-honored recipes and Southern charm to every batch.
Today, each batch of brittle is still made in small quantities with the same care, quality and love that started it all.
Our signature products
Gourmet Peanut, Pecan, Pistachio and Cashew Brittle are handcrafted in small batches to ensure a light and crispy texture.
Store owner replied:
Brad, we are so glad you enjoyed the Pecan Brittle. It is truly a crowd favorite.
Thank you,
Jean
I used to live in Vestavia Hills, glad to suport a Birmingham business from my new home here in Sun City Center FL. I couldn't wait to open the box and sample the popcorn brittle. YUMMY.
I love this new addition to Sweet Jean's candy line. I'll order more popcorn peanut crunch to take with me out to the ballgames. Best way to relive my childhood visits to Fenway Park.
Since Sweet Jean's Candy started making its now famous peanut brittle out of a small local cottage-candy shop over a decade ago, I am overjoyed that I can now buy it online. This peanut brittle is absolutely perfect and of untouchable quality that is incomparable by a wide margin. Lots of high quality big peanuts and a very buttery candy!!!
What a wonderful treat! This peanut brittle is absolutely fantastic. Perfectly crisp without being too hard, with a great balance of sweet, salty, and plenty of peanuts. You can immediately tell it’s made with quality ingredients and a lot of care.
Easily the best peanut brittle I’ve had. I’ll absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it, 10/10!
Sweet Jean's brittle is, hands down, the best brittle you will ever have. It is delicious and, quite frankly, addictive. The peanut brittle is my favorite, but I have had the pecan, cashew and pistachio, and I love those too. It is packaged beautifully and delivered on time every time. Thank you, Sweet Jean's, for sharing this gift with the world!
Sweet Jeans candy is absolutely delicious and her customer service is fabulous! i have tried several different types of her brittle and they are all so rich and delicious!
I am so glad that her wonderful candy is available for sale, and once you try it you will love it, too!
We ordered almost every type of brittle and all of them are just so dang good. Sweet Jeans makes the best brittle anywhere. So fresh, incredibly tasty, quick delivery, beautifully packaged. Great for a gift or just a treat to have at home.
So happy Jean is sharing her wonderful peanut brittle with the rest of us. Tasted as good as I remembered. If you are a fan of peanut brittle, you have found the right spot. Go ahead order it you won’t be sorry.
The peanut brittle is wonderful, but the pecan brittle is extraordinary. It’s like the taste of a pecan pie in a light crisp candy… like a praline that’s grown up! I cannot eat this fast enough when I get my hands on it!
