Sweet Jean grew up baking along side her mother and learning the art of peanut brittle. What began as a cherished family tradition quickly became a lifelong passion.
After years of sharing her homemade brittle with friends and family, who couldn’t get enough, Jean was encouraged to turn her craft into something more. From her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, she proudly launched Sweet Jean’s Candy, bringing her time-honored recipes and Southern charm to every batch.
Today, each batch of brittle is still made in small quantities with the same care, quality and love that started it all.

Since Sweet Jean's Candy started making its now famous peanut brittle out of a small local cottage-candy shop over a decade ago, I am overjoyed that I can now buy it online. The peanut brittle is wonderful, but the pecan brittle is extraordinary. It’s like the taste of a pecan pie in a light crisp candy… like a praline that’s grown up! I cannot eat this fast enough when I get my hands on it!
